ABOUT US
Yaya’s Halo was born in honor of Yevaeh Patrick-Moon who tragically drowned at the age of 9 in Colorado Springs, CO on December 16, 2017. Her death caused pain for not only her parents and family, but also highlighted the universal pain in African-American communities that often gets swept under the rug due to stigmas, lack of funding, care, support, and quality resources in general.
Yaya’s Halo is a safe and sacred haven intended to bridge these spaces by healing, sharing, and honoring all of our special loved ones in the healthiest way possible. Our mission and passion is to help these children and families by promoting awareness, mental health, resources and overall wholeness in every aspect of life.
YAYA’S BRIGHT SPIRIT AND STRENGTH WILL FOREVER LIVE ON!!!!!
